PFF is devastated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the unspeakable impact that the war is having on its men, women and children.
We will help them in any way that we can. Already, PFF has donated 4,000 microwavable bowls that can be used to distribute hot meals or for medical applications, along with 60,000 disposable polythene aprons.
Our Keighley site was approached by a colleague about a local charity that needed boxes for packing clothing and goods, and we were happy to help with a supply. And our Washington site has supported a Polish church based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with wrapping materials and packing tape.
Andrew Frith, General Manager said, “The desperate plight of the Ukrainian people has touched everyone immensely. We are glad that we have been able to support organisations who are working hard to get goods distributed to them as quickly as possible.”
