PFF Joins Business Insider’s Top 500

PFF is very proud to be included in the list for the first time.

This is one of the most successful largest companies in Yorkshire and the Humber ranked on an average of profit to turnover.

The Top 500 list is announced in the Business Insider July edition – traditionally one of the best-read of the year.

Group MD Kenton Robbins has commented on how important the region is to PFF’s operations.

If you don’t subscribe to the publication, we have shared Kenton’s views below:

      Q. Is being a Yorkshire & Humber-headquartered company important to you and why?

      A. Yes, very much so. It is important to recognise the heritage of your business and respect its values. We consider ourselves to be ‘very Yorkshire’ with the quality of our manufacturing delivering the very best value for our customers.

      Q. What advantages have you gained from being based in the north?

      A. The North offers an excellent and committed workforce and we are immensely proud of all our staff. The manufacturing sector throughout the North is the envy of the UK. In addition, the work-life balance we have in the North and the benefits that brings to business are unrivaled.

      Q.  What are your ambitions for your business and how will this be achieved?

      A. After the challenges and growth we have seen through the pandemic, the business is going from strength to strength with a recent acquisition and the amalgamation of two sites this year. Our commitment to innovation and sustainability alongside new investment in our product offering will make this another year of exciting challenges for PFF Group.

      Q. How do you see the economic outlook now?

      A.  It is a challenging outlook with strong inflation across the UK manufacturing sector and cost pressures increasing daily. However, with challenges come opportunities and the key is identifying them and making the most of them.
