Based at PFF’s Washington site, Joshua, works in the company’s accounts department, supporting the processing of invoices and statement reconciliations by its head office in Keighley. He also covers the site’s reception two days a week.
While working at PFF, Joshua is studying at Sunderland College for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Joshua said: “I was attracted to working at PFF as I think apprenticeships are a great opportunity to kick start careers. PFF is a well-established company and is providing me with a lot of support – I’m learning to speak to people more confidently in person and over the phone and the role is giving me responsibilities and improving my attention to detail.”
Terry Modral, PFF’s North East financial controller, said: “The company greatly values the opportunity to offer an apprenticeship to Josh so he can gain hands-on work experience at the same time as studying for a qualification that will support him on his chosen career path.
“It is very satisfying to know that we are helping another individual to fulfil their potential and to be part of a growing and successful local company.”
